And it's bloody hot in Adelaide too. i was able to back out of going into
wild country this last couple of weeks, didn't think i'd come back if I
did. I finally worked out what 51C is in fahrenheit and wished I hadnt.

Are you going to make us think? Shame on you. I'm on vacation and thinking
is the last thing on my mind.

Duh! Better clean your glasses or check the battery in your calculator, Tom. Mine says 51C = 123.8F

Cheers,
Ellen

I just thought of something. Probably Tom doesn't know how to use a calculator even if he has one. ;-0
So, for Tom and other dummies it can be figured out on paper pretty easy.

F = 9/5C + 32.

9/5 x 51 = 91.8

91.8 + 32 = 123.8.

See, I learned *something* in school.

Cheers,
Ellen

Ha, Thom!
Clearly you have never been in the engine room of a cruiser in the tropics,
sitting on top of the boiler setting up the safety valve. Wrung out my
boiler suit like a dishrag afterwards...
