Palestinians get Saddam funds

Which has nothing to do with why we invaded Iraq.

You are dumber than a rock. This is a global war on terrorism.

Did you miss 9-11?

Joe

There was no attack from Iraq on the US during 9/11. This is now, in
addition to a global war on terrorism, an Iraqi war that was a lie and is
a magnet for the creation of even more terrorists.

You got him there, JG. 9/11 was an attack from the Saudis. We couldn't
attack them, so we did the next best thing. Kind'a like the old joke:

Parent to teacher: "My kid is easily controlled. If he messes up, just
slap the kid next to him and he will straighten up."

Gilly,

I don't know how you really count win or lose in a war?

In ww2 we toppled a God Japan. We got rid of Hitler. El DUCE is no
longer in power and with the aid of the Truman Doctrine we rebuilt the
infrastructure of Europe.

Even in Iraq, Saddam is no longer in power.

If you mean a victory means destroying a country and enslaving its
people, that isn't the USA way

Yeah, and we didn't have 3000 dead US soldiers, 20,000 miamed
solders,
500000 dead innocent Iraqis, and it's getting worse by the day!

No it's getting better. Less are getting killed every mo.

According to the Pentagon's report today...

22% more attacks
32% more military casualties
60% more civilian deaths

Did Joe actually say that?
Damn...he really does live in dreamland!

Oz1...of the 3 twins.

I welcome you to crackerbox palace,
We've been expecting you.

Unfortunately, it's all too common here. Thus, we got Bush, Iraq, and
thousand dead and wounded.

I just heard that the crime stats are way up, mostly due to youth
violence... more guns in their hands. Instead of considering that
homeland security includes homeland crime prevention and preventing
terrorist attacks, the Bush administration, as usual, is inept.

Not that much... it's just getting worse...

Well, I think that the Saudis were complicit, but Bin Laden was in
Afganistan support by the Taliban. That needed to be stopped. Unfortunately,
we seem to have dropped the ball there also.

Victory = instilling the classic liberal ideals of individual liberty.

WWII:

Japan made free.

1/2 of Germany set free.

Italy set free.

Soviet Union = bigger and stronger

China = becomes Communist

1/2 Europe = Commie control

50 million people killed.

Spain = not liberated.

The argument can be made that WWII was a wash at best.

We must beware of the future. For the rotten seed of Nazism is still
implanted. And perhaps under some other name or some other guise it could
sprout again:

Joe,

If there is any doubt of Gobal Terrorist war, the video taped speech
should pretty much confirm it
------------------------------------------------------In a new
videotape, Ayman al-Zawahiri, the second-in-command to al-Qaeda chief
Osama bin Laden, singled out Britain as a historical enemy of Muslims,
blaming it for the creation of the state of Israel and the downfall of
the Ottoman Empire in the early 20th century.
He also said al-Qaeda would continue to plan attacks on the United
States and its "Crusader" allies in Europe as long as Western powers
remain in Iraq, Afghanistan and Lebanon. "The animosity of Britain
toward Islam stretches over centuries," Zawahiri said, according to a
translation of his remarks by the SITE Institute, a terrorism research
organization. "Isn't it the one who used to occupy most Islamic lands?"

Gilly,

I guess you are still isolated on your Island. The "WALL" is down,
Spain was not involved in WW2, Soviet Union is Breaking up, There is a
United Europe.

The Euro is worth more than the US dollar

Most of the European Country of the Soviet union are now independent and
joining the European Union.

WW2 a wash? You're talking real BS. It was total Unconditional Victory.
Both in Europe and it Asia.

Ole Thom
