When I subscribed to alt.sailing.asa I was hoping to be able to read about
sailing from people who're sailors. Boy was I ever expecting something that's
not here. What's here is a dozen ignorant *regulars* who're paranoid social
misfits. It's not ladylike to say it but your freaking assholes.
You'all can't get along. You'all are too stupid to learn a news reader program
and how to format your posts to make them readable. Your preoccupied with trying
to figure out whose who. Who's a puppet, who's a clone, who's a man and who's
a woman. What difference does it make who wrote it. Spend some time reading it
and trying to understand what's being said, not who's saying it. Duh!
You have horrible manners. Rude, arrogant, obnoxious and petty. You abuse new
subscribers who post things asking sailing questions like rope sizes for their boats.
Your too lazy to delete long and unnecessary stuff from other peoples posts when
you reply that's got nothing to do with what your saying. Or, like Tom, you just
answer somebody and don't even give a hint about who or what your answering.
A bunch of big babies is what you'all are. What low standards you have. No
pride in your posts. No effort goes into them. No good comes of them. No nothing.
Just noise and rubbish. Just recycled rubbish piled on top of a big pile of fresh
garbage. It's sickening. It's sad. Shame on you. You can do it right. I know you can.
But, you'd rather make a mess of it. You get more attention that way. I think most
of you all are actually proud to be known as jerks. A bunch of freaking failures!

chandelier. I haven't decided yet if it's a stupid person (possibly the
Crapton, more likely not) who thinks they're smart, or a smart person
cleverly playing a stipud person. But then, I skip most of "Ellen's"
posts so it doesn't matter all that much.

I'm so sorry this news group's so pitiful. I'm trying my best to make something
out of it. But, your right. Just a bunch of jerks around here. I guess I need to
get a life. Hanging out here is mostly a drag. I should just give up on it and go
someplace else. People told me that years ago this was a good sailing newsgroup.
I don't know what happened but it sure isn't now. But once in a while people do talk
about sailing. There's some intelligent conversation but waiting around through
the down time is frustrating.
