Which is in your survival kit?
I don't think I've ever had Stilton. Seen it, but haven't
got 'round to it yet. I was thinking about subscribing to the Williams Sonoma 6 month cheese thing...maybe I'll just get their menu and go buy them myself. The cheeses at Whole Foods have gotten a bit lower end of late, but they're the best shot in town. It's a Sailing town so the food and restaurants really suck. I make grilled cheese under the broiler so the cheese gets toasted brown spots... stinky cheese is the best cheese...I like all the varieties of Swiss...my alltime favorite cheeses, though, are the Stiltons...having a difficult time finding a store down here that carries them...up north the regular grocers have Stiltons in their cases, but not down here... I'll send you a chunk of Shropshire Blue next time I got to Whole Foods. Yum! Sounds delightful. Stilton makes a great additive cheese in Welsh rarebit. |

One of my greatest pleasures was sharing her limburger on saltines with a tiny glass of Olympia beer of an afternoon. I sure miss her. Can't quite replicate the limburger tho. They were in little foil wrapped cakes... Seahag |

OR, just let some of their cheese spoil in the summer sun for a month or more. g Max |
