Why do most newsreaders , including Microsoft's "Outlook Express" default to top posting? Personally, I'd consider a better newsreader, but if you must use OE, try using QuoteFix. http://home.in.tum.de/~jain/software/outlook-quotefix/ |

Personally, I'd consider a better newsreader, but if you must use OE, try using QuoteFix. http://home.in.tum.de/~jain/software/outlook-quotefix/ You don't need an add-on program if you dare to mess with the Registry (XP): 1. Quit Outlook Express. 2. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK. 3. Locate and then click the following registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{GUID for identity involved}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0 4. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value. 5. Type Reply At End, and then press ENTER. 6. Right-click Reply At End, and then click Modify. 7. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK. To reset it to default at the top, change the value back to zero. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com |
