If you have ever worked with a sandblaster you know how much
power it takes, concentrated on a small area, to make a
cutting agent work (and all the ones I know of are much
denser than pumice).

you ever saw any fiberglass burn, with NO other cumbustable
material mixed in... then you were really watching the resin
burn.

was uncombustible... and I've seen fiberglass insulation
panels that would withstand temps that would turn your steel
boat into a puddle.
