I'll tell you about WMD's.
3,000 people killed in NYC on 9-11-2001. Handguns? No. Improvised explosive devices? No. WMD's? Yes. The WMD's were not the planes. They were the savages that would use any means at their disposal to come into our country and kill as many innocent civilians as possible. The WMD's are the terrorists. A gun, an atomic bomb, a ICBM is nothing but an extension of the person or people using it. The US possesses terrible weapons but we are are a moral country. The most moral country in the history of the world. Iraq had facilties to train people to become WMD's. Hussien slaughtered his own people. If you condemn the US more than Iraq you have no moral bearing at all. So what do we do? Outlaw planes? They're just like guns only they are WMD's. No, we go after the savages and the savage cultures that cultivate these horrible acts and eradicate them. You can get your panties in a knot over Iraq but we're there now and there's nothing you can do about it. We are rapidly approaching a moment of truth both for ourselves as human beings and for the life of our nation. Now, truth is not always a pleasant thing. But it is necessary now to make a choice, to choose between two admittedly regrettable, but nevertheless *distinguishable*, postwar environments: one where you got twenty million people killed, and the other where you got a hundred and fifty million people killed. Yes, they are on their way in, and no one can bring them back. For the sake of our country, and our way of life, I suggest you get the rest of the Free World in after them. Otherwise, we will be totally destroyed by Moslem retaliation. Our boys will give you the best kind of start, 1400 megatons worth, and you sure as hell won't stop them now. So let's get going, there's no other choice. God willing, we will prevail, in peace and freedom from fear, and in true health, through the purity and essence of our natural... fluids. God bless you all. Either you are with us or against us! |

Politics aside... much less our own security issues but focusing only on Iraq: There is no way in Hell that anybody can convince me that this country (Iraq) and it's citizenry are now better off as a result of our invasion. Course that's my own perception of things concerning Iraq... but I am pretty certain that of the 26,783,383 Iraqi citizens... the majority have also come to the same conclusion. Tis a sad situation... for sure... IMHO! Bill |

If each picked up a gun and fired a few shots, they could easily drive us out. Why hasn't this happened? Are they a bunch of wimps? It is a sad situation. I don't think Bush should have invaded. More importantly, the Democrats will make things worse. Vote Republican! |

Kerry and his buddies have a long history of saying such things about the American military so there is no doubt about what he meant. He truly intended to insult the US troops, there is no doubt of that. Remember, Kerry is the penultimate Democrat, he was their standard bearer, he represents the party, most Dems agree with Kerry. Now, who will you vote for? |

Kerry isn't stupid. He is just an elitist who thinks he
is better than everyone else. It makes me wonder if the reason Kerry thinks troops are stupid is because they are willing risking their lives for their country. After all, he bailed out of Vietnam at the earliest possibility without achieving his aim of being a war hero. Obviously he thinks he is too smart and valuable to be killed--better to let the stupid people get killed off--eh? He did stick his foot in it. And I agree, there is no doubt he really believes the typical solder is stupid and uneducated. It just shows how ill informed he is. Today's volunteer soldier takes advantage of educational benefits, is well educated, and uses the military as a stepping stone for post military life. Ellen MacArthur wrote: Personally I think Senator Kerry let some of his private thoughts come out. He really does think soldiers are stupid and uneducated and he's smart and educated. But, let's say this time Kerry just told a bad joke about Mr. Bush. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt. OK? So then you have to ask what's worse? Being twice elected President of the United States and *stuck in Iraq* or being a losing presidential candidate and being *stuck on stupid*? The Senator's trying to lie his way out of a huge blunder. He looks stupid and proves why he's a loser. This is God dealing a death blow . A death blow to Democrats of getting control of Congress... Cheers, Ellen P.S. Even the *stupid soldiers* are making fun of the Senator. http://www.drudgereport.com/irak.jpg |
