What I'm anxiously awaiting is the bitter fight between Hillary, Kerry,
Edwards, Obama, Bayh, Gore (?) and ??? in about a year. Should be fun
watching the Democrats once again fractionate themselves while someone
like
John McCain waltzes into the GOP nomination.

Looking at it from this great Socialist bastion to your north, I have to
agree with you. I don't think the Dems have a chance, no matter who they
nominate, the poor ******* will be like a race horse with two jockeys
facing opposite directions.

McCain, a centrist butt-kissing conservative, who disappointed a lot
of people when he sucked up to Bush so he can get the nomination. He's
even using the same attack-dog people Bush used. Very disappointing.

Thankfully a lot of Democrats disagree with you. McCain is more qualified
to lead than anyone the Dems or GOP have put up for office so far.

In any case, though he may be more qualified, he's still just a politition
after all is said and done. He just wants to get elected, nothing more.

Are you proposing an entirely new class of individual seeking the highest
office in the land?

Beyond Ike, I can't recall any apolitical presidential candidates.

I was thinking something more like a Planet Hollywood neon sign suffering
from a voltage spike.
