If it was an honest misunderstanding, I would be ok with that.

It's not. It's deliberately taking a comment out of context and
twisting it to mean something else. Ok, many people are genuinely
fooled by this tactic, and I guess I can't fault them for being
dishonest. But the leaders who pushed this - Karl Rove, et. al. - know
they're being dishonest.

Understand what's going on here. The Republicans are getting creamed in
the polls and they're feeling desparate. Bush is campaiging hard to

As "Commander-in-Chief" Bush is Stuck in Iraq, just as his troops are.
BUSH is the reason our military is there.

We won the War but are rather rapidly Losing the Peace. Iraq is not a
US colony. Let's get our "Military Ass" out of there

AND;---- I hope Kerry doesn't run against the GOP in '08. I have to
agree, he is a FN.

I truly want to vote against "George 2nd" I don't think I could Vote for
Kerry.
