I gotta believe that a smaller filter means lesser capacity for
contaminants. I wonder what the rationale is? Scout "Ringmaster" wrote in message ps.com... For what it's worth I just picked up a new oil filter for my 2GM. I went to do the oil and filter change today and when I opened the new filter it was about 2/3 the size of the old one. I called the dealer to give him grief for selling me the wrong part and he told me Yanmar changed the design. Glad I called it saved me a 50mi round trip. |
