And get back to use if you can also find a clue!

BTW it's valve seats that have the problem , not valves.

ALL were replaced and the new owner can see the reciept for repairs and
original work order. The engine is now running like new with perfect
compression. We also replaced the generator components. Great deal for
the money. Like all of my outboards, this one will be sold in a week or
so. My last Yamaha (an 8 HP) sold two weeks ago. No complaints.

You resort to claiming the fix is in the rebuild kit!

Valve seats are not part of a standard rebuild kit!

But what does that matter?

Yamaha had only one 4 cycle model ever that could have problems running
unleaded. Otherwise every 4 cycle they built had hardened valve seats!
Unleaded is no problemo!! Yamaha is famous for that.

Yet you claim the engine was modified during it's rebuild!!

Are you wearing a plaid jacket?

Busted again.

Since you
claim to know who I am, just show up at my house and I'll give it to you
for
free. You can even send Bart for it, since he lives closer!

I have absolutely no use for your silly outboard.

How about I drop by unannounced?

You like surprises don't you?

Nope, but the guy who rebuilds our outboards is a good one..

I guess you didn't get my post. You had said "my shop" Now it's
"our outboards" I guess your attempting to give the impression that
you bought into that section 8 marina. I certainly don't refer to the
engine shop located at the marina where I keep my boat as "my shop"
I'll bet that marina is tired of you hanging around trying to
weasel your way into getting stuff on the cheap so you can turn around
and resell it.

Remember Doug's friend called the marina and wanted RB to survey the boat
and the guy on the other end laughed.

Why not call the marina and ask to speak to their chief sailboat surveyor
and see who they hook you up with. I'm sure the guys at the marina would get
a good laugh out of it.

Check out the long horizontal seams on RB tarp sail in the photo.
