![]() And get back to use if you can also find a clue! BTW it's valve seats that have the problem , not valves. ALL were replaced and the new owner can see the reciept for repairs and original work order. The engine is now running like new with perfect compression. We also replaced the generator components. Great deal for the money. Like all of my outboards, this one will be sold in a week or so. My last Yamaha (an 8 HP) sold two weeks ago. No complaints. RB 35s5 NY |

You resort to claiming the fix is in the rebuild kit! Valve seats are not part of a standard rebuild kit! But what does that matter? Yamaha had only one 4 cycle model ever that could have problems running unleaded. Otherwise every 4 cycle they built had hardened valve seats! Unleaded is no problemo!! Yamaha is famous for that. Yet you claim the engine was modified during it's rebuild!! Are you wearing a plaid jacket? Busted again. |
