All the major sailcloth suppliers Dimension, Contender, etc get tons of
fabric returned from lofts every day because of defects in the cloth.
They then turn around and offer these seconds back to the lofts at 50%
off. The lofts use the good parts off the rolls for repairs to
customer's sails that use the same fabric. I suspect Boobie's midnight
sewing machine operator is using defective rolls of cloth to make his
bargin sails.


Hint: Take a close look at the photo of his sail. Look at the material near
one of the battens. Namely above and below.
