Default Dutchman system Dated?

You be the judge!

Side-by-side comparison?

1) Complete sealing and protection of sail? Doyle-YES Dutchman-NO,
leaves holes in sailcover.
2) No modes to mainsail inventory required? Doyle-YES Dutchman-NO, mods

required.
3) Usable as sail matures? Doyle-YES Dutchman-NO, only works well with
newer sails.
4) Easy removal or sail changes? Doyle-YES Dutchamn-NO, requires setup
each time.
5) Allows for removal of sail with cover? Doyle-YES Dutchman NO.
6) Integrated sailcover? Doyle-YES Dutchman-NO. seperate sailcover
must be used.
7) Easy removal for racing? Doyle-YES Dutchman-NO, hard to remove.
8) Reefing stows excess sail material out of sight? Doyle-YES
Dutchman-NO.
9) No additional windage presented by system? Dutchman-YES, Doyle-NO,
minimal windage on most boats.
10) No chafing risks? Doyle-YES Dutchman-NO, some chafing over time.

I'm NOT affiliated with Doyle or Dutchman or North sails.

Good luck!
