required.
3) Usable as sail matures? Doyle-YES Dutchman-NO, only works well with
newer sails.
4) Easy removal or sail changes? Doyle-YES Dutchamn-NO, requires setup
each time.
5) Allows for removal of sail with cover? Doyle-YES Dutchman NO.

If it preforms what you want it to, when you want it to, and you
maintain it... then it's a good thing.

Nutsy,

My "Old Fashion Lazy Jacks" beats both systems on all 10 counts. Plus;-
I could walk in to West Marine and come out with a standard Sail Cover
that worked better than both.

When sailing, the "Jacks" were secured at the Mast and GooseNeck.

The cover was tucked away in the port seat locker ( Arms length from the
Boom)

When Reefed; reefed sail was clear & below the working part of the
sail. Both Stack-Pak & Dutchman leave the sail to interfere with foot
of sail

Click on Thom page, image one (End of Sail) to see sail dropped in
Jacks as we enter the Harbor behind a Echell still sailing. All gathered
and ready for the cover.

On Image #5 I think, Pneuma on the hard with the Main covered and
"Jacks" in place, I think neater and better than both newer systems
