Default Where is the outcry?

The word "casualty" refers to a member of the armed forces lost to
service through death, wounds, sickness, capture, or missing in action.
Total casualties of the Iraq war as of October 5 are 23,624, including
2737 killed. Unlike news coverage in previous wars, the number of
solders injured in Iraq is a tragedy not often reported.
