Well, that's certainly changed... in fact during Clinton's presidency.

Yep, look at how many were trained to become politician's interns ![]() Problem is, they came out of a system left over from your Great Society that did pay money, food stamps, and energy assistance based on the size of your fa,ily. If it comes down to working for 10 bucks and hour or getting it all doled out, the option is usually the dole. The other problem is that there is no work ethic. You get more if you don't work. From what I've seen personally, that's not really true. But a lot of people would rather have less money for not working, than to work & get more. Why is that? I dunno, but clearly the ratio should be adjusted. For that matter, the number of co-workers I've seen miling workmen's comp claims over the years would support the idea that 1- there's more than one way to milk the system and 2- a LOT of people, across every ethnicity, have the same no-work ethic.
