Great! Glad to hear it. I'll be down on the boat the rest
of the week, give me a call if you're sailing. I imagine
you'll wait for the w/e.

I'm on the road with my new boat, Seaward 26rk. Right now

I'm in South
Carolina and exhausted. Another 600 miles of towing

tomorrow.

Doug, if we are passing close to you I'd like to meet,

show you the
boat. Only thing is I"m on a tight schedule because work

is calling
Give me a yell on the cell if you are near I -95.

ps. she's a beaut!

Thanks Rob,
and it begins! I'm realizing that I need to carve out a protected place in
my very wooded yard to winter the boat. I'm spending this weekend cutting
down 6 trees and a contractor is coming in to cut and stone a 200 ft lane;
at the end of that lane I'll put this garage tent
http://www.coverquest.com/covers/ins...s/coverit2.php I should
be able to squeeze in my camper, utility trailer, and even my John Deere
tractor. I know the boat is supposed to be about fun, but the urge to
protect an investment is primal. I probably should've done all this before
buying the boat, but I thought I'd still be looking at this point.

Joe - I'm a fan of the gray!

Katy - I chose the round top because I've had them before - 11 years
and many high winds and heavy snows later it was still as taught and
sturdy as day one. They're a good product provided they are installed
correctly. The anchors (screws) were a bear to twist in, but well worth
the effort. The dupont material is very tough!
