Default Internation Distress Signals

Darn. And, I've given away the answer... it's the gun right? :-)

No points for you Jon. You didn't read the question.
I asked you to name one, not a half dozen or more.

There is always the bonus question.

My favorite is a gun fired at one minute intervals. If you have the gun,
why do you need help?

Let's see... gun, red stars or parachute or handheld flare, continuous
fog horn, raising and lowering your arms (what if you only have one
arm?), square flag with round above or below it, fire, SOS, Mayday, flags
NC, Eprib signal I suppose.

Not sure about orange smoke....

Inverted US flag would probably work, but wouldn't work for some country
flags.

Easy Points for those of you who are POINTLESS.

For 1 point, name one of the many International
Distress Signals.

Bonus: 2 points. Which one do you think would
most likely be used in Texas?
