Who Remembers?

Freedom Tower is a boring building, with a fake 20 stories to make it
the fifth (yes, fifth) tallest building in the World and the second
tallest in the USA (Chicago will have a taller one).

Burj Dubai will cap out at about 800 metres, a full 250 metres taller
than Freedom Tower, construction started a year and a half ago and it
is already at 75 stories. It'll be finished in 2008, three years
before "Freedom Tower."

I agree though, George Bush shouldn't be blaimed for destroying the
building of Freedom Tower, he should be blaimed for destroying the
building of Freedom in general. Suspension of Habeus Corpus, torture,
domestic spying, lieing about Iraq, creating a civil war in Iraq,
allowing imprisionment without charge, taking away the right of appeal.
The man makes Richard Nixon look like an SDS member! If the framers
of the US constitution would hae forseen George W as president they
probably would have reaffirmed their oath to King George III and went
back to f**king their slaves.

Let's address the winning little bitch boys rant.

Is being rich a bad thing?

Do you think he was right in attacking the President for attending
the
memorial services at ground zero, the pentagon and in that field in
PA?

It's his job to attend those events. You missed the entire point of the
"rant." Bush...and few others with the power to make things happen, has
done nothing to rebuild the towers.

What has Hillery, your senator done to speed up the process?
She was at the "photo op " too. She's right there in NYC.

Nothing thats what, It's none of her bussiness, let the owners who are
paying for it do it how they feel fit. You welfare bums will never
understand free enterprise and will always expect the govt to carry
your ass and tell you how to do everything.

Is it Presidents Bush fault that 5yrs...5yrs...5yrs later no new
super
structure has been buildt?

Yes. It. Is.

NO. IT. IS.NOT

Is this process slower than the normal
process for spending 800+ million dollars building multi sky scrapers?

Of course it is. This was supposed to be on the fast track and Bush
himself stated that the towers would go back up.

it is fast track, but seein how you no nothing about the process that
means nothing to you. Did you know the new Freedom towers will meet
LEED's gold standard for green buildings?

The Freedom Tower, World Trade Center Transportation Hub, Memorial and
Memorial Museum will be powered by renewable energy?

If you have ever been to Ground Zero you would know the Freedom Tower,
the World Trade Center Transportation Hub and the Memorial, "Reflecting
Absence", are currently all under construction at the site.

Santiago Calatrava designed one of the most stunning building I've
ever seen for your new transportation center:

http://www.lowermanhattan.info/image..._opener_lg.jpg

He could have done
many things to help the process along. He's the president of the united
states and he can get things done.

The complexity of the rebuild is massive. To me it looks like the
people paying for it, and doing it, are doing a fine job.

Your an idiot, perhaps Bush should have chopped off the hands of the
designer who did not design fast enough, the builder that did not spend
his money fast enough. You putz, it's a private enterprize to re-build,
this is not a govt building the president has nothing to do with it.

I like the new designs, they are well thought out and designed by one
of the worlds leading designers. Had you had your way, some cardboard
box would be standing.

If President Bush was not at ground zero for the "Photo Opp" you
and
bubbles would be outraged pointing to another left wingers little bitch

boy's rant.

Again, I guess you missed the point.

What that... the MSNBC bitch called it a photo opp....no I did not miss
that...sorry.

You and Rob jump on the band wagons of the lowest

A guy with opinions that differ from yours, who actually lost friends
on 9/11 has a right to his "bandwagon." But most of us true Americans,
who could care less about political agendas, walked away from Bush when
he lied for his phone war. No WMDs.

Did he yell on the telephone? What phone war?

You want to make a change in the way things are going you need to
find a better person with answers and solutions.

Bush has done tremendous damage. It's going to take a lot to
repair...more than one person.

Voting in Iraq, turning over a trained army to the elected leader of
Iraq, a mass murder is on trial in Iraq, Children going to schools in
Afganastan, girls for the first time in many decades, no more attacks
in the USA and we know many were foiled, Gas prices plunging after the
largest disaster in the oilfield ever, and a busted alaska pipeline. I
hear gas will be under 2.00 a gallon by Thanksgiving.

All you have to offer

Many of us offered our votes against Bush from day one. Today nearly
70% of the country agrees. To late I'm afraid. Oh, and I don't always
vote democrat, Joe. Not even close.

Seems loser's are always a little to late to make any difference...

I'm not a republican, never have been BTW.

Joe

I don't think I would include Bill in that list. He did a lot for the
country.
Like what?
Blow job is no longer a dirty word.

Yes, it is.

No it isn't.

Gulliani will most likely be the Republican, he's free of the scandal
racked Bush regime stigma and can run as a right-winger outsider.
Clinton can't win against that. You need someone like Mark Warner who
has very little baggage. But I wouldn't count out Al Gore, he lost to
Geroge Bush by one supreme court judge last time.

How many states use the Republican leaning Dibolt machines?

Our governor here in VA, Mark Warner, wants to go for it. He's a good
governor...not as flashy as Edwards,,is pretty down-to-earth nice guy....

Well, Gulliani does have the ex-wife baggage. It was a pretty messy divorce,
as I recall.

Maybe not with who you choose to hang out with...however, to many it is
still a dirty word(s)
