Hi,
What is the best way to find the value of your sailboat when you are ready to sail, I mean sell? Best way to advertise it? Thanks. DWI (Done with it) |

DWI (Done with it) Pretend you're a buyer and start researching your boat in your area (boats in some places are cheaper than in others or visa versa). Make sure you look to see that the equipment, state of repair, engine, etc. are equivalent. Then go list with a reputable broker in your area so that you don't end up with problems. Having a broker keeps the nutballs who want to waste your time away from you and screens out possible problems. Of course, if you just want to dump it out seeing as how you're done with it, why not donate it to your local Y sailing program or the SeaBee's? |
