Joe, you're delusional.

OZ I can read a GPS, plot a course and calculate speed.
My boat is faster than any 35s5. End of story...case closed.

Sure moden fin keelers are fast and once you get into the mid 40 ft
range then they might do well in anything but the slightest breeze and
seas. But we are talking about bubble's day sailor!

You need to get down to your local yacht club and bum a ride on a
decent fin keeler....

one like this?

A real boat, yet fragile and in need of a large crew and tons-o-money.
And you have to buy everyone matching suits....naaaa to many hassles,
Ill stick with RedCloud, I can single handle her.

And she's faster than any 35s5

Nope, not like that, an ordinary cruiser racer just like Bubbles boat.
You will be surprised I think at just what numbers come up on the GPS.

Ahhh Oz...my boat is faster than a 35s5. Rob is not going to do 9.5 kts
steady.
She's fragile and a day sailor, not worthy of open water.

You mean that the nuts and washers looked ok. Or did you draw a keel bolt?

I doubt it. I'm a world class expert on rust prevention.

The above is a yet another good reason to own a faster glass boat of
course. I had my floorboards up yesterday for a cleaning and found all
keelbolts as new.
