Bummer................the fire at Woolooware?

Yep, That's the one
How did ou get wind of that?

CIA spy photo's. The fire was hot enough to set off space borne
sensors.

Got any pictures?

Nah, there are afew in the papers this morning, but I have none.
Not much to see, just a bunch of hulls burned to the waterline

Yeah I was delivering a fiberglass shrimp boat that caught on fire and
burned to the waterline. Man did that suck, I was over 30 mi from Holma
LA is the middle of the achafalaya swamp, had to swim to the bank and
wait a very long time until a tug boat came along.

What caused the fire?

Appears that it was first noticed in one of the big cruisers.
Speculation is an electrical fault, battery charger or battery.
Don't think they'll ever find out..it's a mess.

Was the cruiser a gasoline boat?

When I spoke to him this morning, he was pulling out the order forms
and getting ready to send a fax off the France tomorrow to order
another.....

Guy can't take a hint huh?...

She was a beautiful yacht...I can well understand why he'd want
another.

He could do much better than a french boat. Please pass him a clue

I think it was a bad fuel line. The owner asked me to deliver it to
Holma. Only a 25fter with two outboards. I was moving at 15-20 kts and
felt heat on my back, as i pulled the throttles back the fire headed my
way, by time I had it in netural I had to dive over the side. Watched
it burn for about an hour all the way to the water line. The owner was
moving to Holland and perhaps he set me up so he could get
insurance...not sure. It was 6 or so hours until that tug came along.
Had to bring the insurance people back to find the wreck. They called
it an equipment failure.
