It doesn't have a 12 MP CCD. Not native, but it does have 12mp output. Look it up. With a sensor half the size of a D70 it's not likely to kick any ass and barely measures up to my new Casio. Crantz, sensor size and is more important than MP count. No it's not. Increasing the space between charge cells on the CCD increases the grain of the picture. You can't refute that! Wrong. There is no increased space because the cells are larger. Larger sensors make for less noise which is why no small sensor can match Canon FF 35mm sensors for ISO performance. You forgot to mention bits per pixel. How does that affect the phhoto quality? It effects, but so does inherent pixel sharpness AA filters and the optical set. The Fuji is not a good camera, Bob. The Fuji 30 is. How many bits per pixel on each camera? Google it up yourself. I use these cameras. I don't even own a camera! Clearly. It's the features and compression algorithms that make the S7000 fall short. No, it's the optics that kill it, like any fixed lens camera. It suffers from distortion, CA and poor control over DOF like all P&S cameras. And you DID not know that because you didn't google enough. So all you really know about cameras is what the sales brochures say. You can't refute that either! Bob, give it up, dude. You just proved beyond any doubt that you have no clue. You have no idea of real world performance because you don't own any of these cameras. And yes, I did get to use the 7000 and recently the 9000, which is FAR better. Niether could touch the cheapest DSLRs out there. Your troll ends here. RB 35s5 NY |
