What test line do you use for whales? What bait? Do you have to get a special license? I have a professional hand held Harpoon with 4 metal barrel floats... each with 100' of 1/2" rope and a detachable harpoon head attached. It's part of the gear I have in storage from my commercial fishing days. It was used for marlin etc from the bow of my 30' Cape Islander. I believe it would suit the purpose..... but I'm not a fan of whale meat and refuse to kill anything unless I plan to eat it, use it or in self defence. It is to my knowledge illegal to kill any whale in Canadian waters unless you are Inuit. CM |
