Another typical sailing experience.

Lots of sitting.

The smell of fiberglass, slightly moldy cushions, annoying outboard motor
exhausts.

Not much excercise, certainly nothing aerobic.

Kept mentally alert by adding up the cost of all the electronic gadgets and
calculating how much of my life was spent earning them.

Adjusted the sails a bit, nothing to get overly excited about.

Thought about more productive ways to spend my time.

Talked on cell phone.

Wish I had big screen tv to provide some type of mental stimulation.

Wish I had an award winning galley so I could eat away my boredom.

Wish I had a fast boat so I could do 6 knots instead of 5, I want to
experience the exhiliration of going fast.

Thought about a fancy decal to stick on the side.

Got rocked about in boat wakes when wind died.

Went back to marina, noticed lots of other bored sailors not even going out.

Realized that fun is riding a PWC with some tanned, large breasted woman
hanging on behind you and getting boob slapped upside the head with every
wake you jump.

Somehow, screaming vacuous fun loving scantily clad blondes are attracted to
sailing.

Sailing is like watching rust form on aluminum or scraping bird crap off the
sails.

Ben Stein would make a great sailor.

It could be much worse. I could be kidding myself about how great it all is.
