We New Yorkers don't LIVE WHERE YOU ARE. Get it? That's why it has a
different name; NEW YORK. In other words, it's York only with better advertising. Maxprop wrote: Praise the Lord and Hail Mary. There is a God. We have to put up with Chicagoans. New Yawkahs would be over the top. You're lucky. We got a million of 'em here. They're a PITA and NYC won't take 'em back. I guess you never really hang around Oriental very much, the population there is about 50% Noo Yawkerrs. DSK |

My understanding is that the tunnels and bridges leading away from Manhattan operate on the diode principle--the New Yawkahs can leave but they aren't allowed back in. Makes sense. We met a few of them in Oriental and New Bern. Most had mellowed out a bit, but the locals were far more amiable. Once a New Yawkah, always a New Yawkah. Max |

Is that what that "E-Z Pass" toll booth stuff is all about? We met a few of them in Oriental and New Bern. Most had mellowed out a bit, but the locals were far more amiable. Once a New Yawkah, always a New Yawkah. NC courts have decided that use of the phrase, "But you've never had a *really* *good* bagel" is grounds for justifiable homicide. DSK |
