Default Jeff's Sailing Lesson # 1251-A

Do you even read the links you post Robert? Stuff like " The CS 27 was
built
as a robust, ocean-going boat"? Ever heard of Camper & Nicholson the
designers? Guess not.

LOL!!! CS made some nice boats, but the 27 is a toy and gets little
respect...here are a few comments from owners and reviews....

"although the tucker-up stern and bustle fin, leading from the aft edge
of the keel to the lower bearing on a partially-supported outboard
spade rudder, seem dated by today's standards."

"Grid seperation on early hulls and a few later ones marred her
reuptation."

"Awful rudder design led to a new version later on."

"when designs were still finding there way, this was a good effort, but
still very cheap looking compared to many other builders. It's not a
pretty boat."

PHRF on the LIS is something like 215!!!! NO THANKS!
