So anybody here going?

(a trick question 'cause anybody who is is spending their time getting
ready rather than chattering on the internet)

What about the Port Huron race?

What if they are the sort of squared-away person who has their boat
ready already? Good golly, you people up there have six or seven months
of winter to work on your boats!

I'm PO'd because I have too many petty BS projects going on at the
moment and can't take off to go on the 'other' Mac race. Had to turn
down two invites.... won't happen again!!

With roughly 2k people going, I am sort of surprized there there aren't
others here.

Have fun John, I'll see you there (maybe).

I'm not. I don't like the race. It dumps you off at an expensive
tourist trap that is hard to get away from. (Been there, done that,
still have the picture - the t-shirt wore out.)

The owner and I delivered it to the Port Huron for the start (an all
nighter underpower up the Detroit and St. Claire rivers) and then I am
going to meet him again on the island just long enough to leave and have
a nice 4 day sail home.
