Default 15730 Days and counting...

That fatboy Brody has spent never stepping ashore on one of the most
pristine tropical atolls on earth.

http://www.sailinglinks.com/images/deigogarciag101.jpg

Almost 16000 days and he has never sailed into tropical harbor like
Maritius, amazing since his kin, the Dodo bird, was last seen on this
island off Africa.

So what ...That he wasted all the 70'-90's "being free" and was the
only 40 yo virgin in NY and missed out!

So what if it's only 6580 days until Suzy and his commitments lets him
do more than day sail!

So what if he is going to be in his mid 60's or older by then.

So what..... if he will be to old to enjoy a paradise like this:
http://filipinawives.com/memorial.html

So what if the "Capt." will never have the thrill of working with his
Capt wife many years running the hottest commerical boats on earth:
http://www.haig-brown.com/hottips/images/106b.jpg

So what if he never has the pleasure of crossing the open Pacific and
Atlantic, S.China sea ect.ect.ect....

So what if he never gets to sail the Ivory coast? So what if he never
see flying fish with 4' wingspans, natives with spears in dug out
canoes, rays with 17 ft wingspans. So what if he never see the green
flash, st elmos fire, phorphous snakes, schools of squids on the
surface 4 miles long, 80 ft seas, sperm wales, or pink bellied baby
dolphins playing in his bow wake.

So whats it like to be an overaged father, shackled to the LIS cess
pool, a true sad sack who missed out, and is still void of any hint of
a real sailors life? So whats I like? I'd like to know.

Capt. Joe

Hell, bubbles has been on a "steep learning curve" for years and he hasn't
even managed to sail to Bermuda!

He never will either, you have to go out of the sight of land.
