Default Green vs Blue

My ocean is green and has been for as long as I can recall. Bob posted
pics of blue water just over yonder from me. What makes the difference
between the two?

The lower oxygen content makes for bluer water. The LIS is oxygen depleted
due to heavy concentrations of fecal coliforms and bacycotrix enemousa.
Studies have showm methan beds forming on the floor of the sound.
