Just read an interesting article on Coffee.

In a study of more than 125,000 people, one cup of coffee per day cut
the risk of alcoholic cirrhosis by 20 percent. Four cups per day reduced
the risk by 80 percent. The coffee effect held true for women and men of
various ethnic backgrounds.
It is unclear whether it is the caffeine or some other ingredient in
coffee that provides the protection, said study co-author Dr. Arthur
Klatsky of the Kaiser Permanente Division of Research in Oakland, Calif

So, CM, Have a Cup of Coffee with that "Eye Opener" and Max, a shot of
Rum in that morning Cup isn't a bad way to start the Day;

AND: "I'LL DRINK TO THAT!"

Grand Rapids, Mi was the first with fluoridated water...I know this
because there was a big sign on a building by the xway proclaiming that
fact....we lived out in the country so had well water and had to do the
foam cup filled with grape fluoride stuff at school...commies have
caries...capitalists don't....

My conclusion was that this idea was not a practical deterrent, for
reasons which,

Thom... if you think about it.... Russians drink pure grain alcohol.. Vodka!
But even those Commie Comrades don't dilute it with water of any sort. Let
