Texas seems ready for a Big Storm
We just had a little rain and they have formations of USCG helo's
flying in review, Blackhawks brought in and on standby at Ellington field. 40 fast water rescue teams, 100 National guard hummers, water takers, ice trucks, harbor fast responce boats crusing the lakes, fuel trucks set up on evacuation routes ect...ect..ect..ect. Even the Governer flew over earlier Looks like a battle zone. The news stations are hyping the rain, pictures of the swimming dog "hunting for her flooded out puppies" amoung 5 people standing around knee deep water. I'm sure they drove around for hours looking for that puddle and story. Regardless of the hype Texas seems prepared for a storm. Joe |
