The most trouble I've ever had is with domestic dogs. I've been bitten several times especially when on a bike. Wild animals are the least of your worries. As an individual who runs 300 plus days a year an average of 5.5 miles per run, often on woods trails, I'm much more concerned with dogs than any other animal, wild or domestic. However, the recent report of a women runner in Florida eaten by an alligator was a little alarming. I've been eyeball to eyeball with sharks. They do not concern me. Frank |
