come back to us to get re-elected.


That's debatable. There are many ways "the guv'mint" has
siezed greater control over who gets elected to office and
who doesn't. For example, have you seen the news about
redistricting? And the fact that there are more lobbyists
than ever, and lobbying is now the nation's #1 industry? The
politicians firmly believe that *money* is what gets them
elected (ie that people are stupid enough to believe
anything if it advertised heavily enough) and until the
voters PROVE them wrong, that is the theory they will
operate under... and the politicians will serve MONEY rather
than the people.





If we can't believe in ourselves then we'll get a government we can't
believe.

Ah ****! Time to get down off the "Soap Box" Remember the OLD Sailor's
Saying: A Captain gets the crew he deserves and the Crew creates the
Captain they deserve. The same applies to government.
