Can't say much for the casting technique...sloppy at best...
but the darn thing hit center of the pond!!! Good work, Mooron, but I can't bite on your cast as the flavor is the same as mine. The F4 is a splendid camera. I had the F5 and prefered the 4's handling. But you might honestly give a D200 a try. I think you'd be pretty pleased with the results, fun factor and cost is not too high at 1699.00 for the body. You have the glass already. Look at poor Joe with his Mama Mia C3. The poor sod thinks he owns a superior camera, but people take photos and I've seen great work done with lowly Canon rangefinders. My most recent lens is the Tamron 90 DI Macro...a stunning hunk of glass and sharper than any Nikon prime I've owned or tried...including the Nikon Micro 105mm.
