Does it really matter..............? I had both a 441 victor with the cool yellow and chrome tank and its little brother a 250 Starfire street bike with a cute sky blue tank. I ended up with 20+ stiches in my left leg where the compression relsease lever was shoved to the bone as I went down on the 441. Oh, I forgot about the little Tr 200 Cub. That was fun too. Always wanted a 500 Manx. But........... But the most enjoyable was my 850 Norton Interstate. I put over 90K miles on that one with out any problems. Well I did get a valve job at 60K. Oh, and they were not 850cc.................. if I remember right it was 823cc displacement. Now for another point to argue: my Norton was a BSA. Now how can that be???? Nice bike. I miss it. So stop ****ing on each other and do what knowledable bikers do.........go for a ride. Bob |

Another Drink? WTF are babbling about Robert? Are you sniffin Thom's
elmers gule again? Facts are facts... I showed you an offical BSA Shop guide and the MFG. refers to the bike as a 440. You had notta clue. Now be man enough to admit at least to yourself that BSA has a bike in 1969 that BSA called the 440. The 440 is the proper term assigned to the bike by the maker..BSA. Did you ever think that due to a special hemi type piston the actual combustion chamber size might shrink 1 cc? You do know CC and CI measurements are the volume of the combustion chambers right? But I did rally like the bule tank. it was even fiberglass! Biking is for wusses...I sail. Capt. Suzy 35s5 NY Not sure about that. I always though that water was much more forgiving than asphalt. On the other hand, I could always get off my bike and walk home. Can't do that offshore! Road Rash Bob |

Depends on how fast you hit the water as to how forgiving it is Bob.
