CM,

The cannuck never invented a snowmobile. Their snow transportation was a
sled pulled by Dogs. It took civilized people to do away with the dogs

CM; maybe you should consider "Dog Teams" no petroleum fuel price shock
there. Parking; now that's a problem!

It's a city car?

I think they make no bones about it being an efficient commuter.... then
again I live 20 miles out of the city and 3 people on the road here have
them. I've heard nothing but positive feed back from the owners. One guy
takes his to 2 other provinces once a week... says he's had no problems at
highway speeds under any condition. Like I said... I'm looking at one for a
work vehicle. I do site inspections and get paid a per Km rate. I often have
up to a dozen sites to visit in a day.

At full speed the mileage would drop quite a bit and
approach that of a gas engine--I'll guess 70-75 mpg?

Still it would go 5 1/3 times as far as my pickup truck.

Diesels have a nice amount of torque. They are fast
off the line at a stop light. I used to pull a snow mobile
trailer with my Rabbit diesel. I'll bet a little smart-car
could pull a trailer--which would be a good thing as
tail-gate'r would make me real nervous in a car that
is so obviously vulnerable to a rear end collision.

Damn, at full speed you could drive six hours on a gallon.

I'd buy a diesel version if it was available in the US.
95mpg is fabulous.

That works out to a little over $20k in USD.

That seems high. The smart-car should be selling for about
12-15k. At those prices they could not make them fast
enough to serve the demand. Everyone would buy one as
a second car.

paddle shift. It's a cool little car. I was pricing one of the
convertible models with leather seats, A/C, power windows etc.... 23K
Cdn.

It's the fuel and manoeuvrability aspect for in city driving that really
caught my interest.

Check again Thom... Bombardier of Quebec invented the snowmobile. It's a

I think Katy clued you in. Civilized people built the first and patented
it. Cripes CM, it wasn't even the Canucks or the English that figured
out the DogSled. They stole it from the "Inuits"

14 " rims...Not sure I've never owned a chevy....Always Fords ,
Plymouths, and Dodges . The Knock offs I got came from a 62 Ford Falcon
Econoline.

A guy here at the marina has a silver split window vette.
Don't you wish your dad kept it, and gave it to you!

I wonder if Scotty's ever got his classic off the cinder blocks yet?

He never would have given it to me. He only parted with
it because he had a heart attack and wanted Air Conditioning.

Originally he has a 63 split window with a four speed. He traded
it in for a 64 with an automatic so my mother could drive it. It
took her three weeks to notice it was a different car. Both were
white. What happened to that thing in the middle of the window?

I would love to find either car. I have the serial number for one
of them around here somewhere. They gave owners a little plastic
card with each sold listing the owners name and the serial number
of the car.

I have about 30 years of Corvette News magasine--all but the very
first issue. I wonder what that is worth?

Trying to retain the value eh?

My brothers truck is becoming famous.
It has a cult following of sorts.

Its been in two Blake Shelton videos. Ol Red and Some Beach.

I keep telling him he should put it on E-bay now.

That's a mouthful--most telling. What a wimp. We ride in sub-zero temps
here.

Yes well..... we find snowmobiles much more effective in the snow.

What? Have you stopped abusing sled dogs up there?

The only people buying dog pelts are Americans... and considering your
current deficit.... the market value is way down.

Our deficit could treble and we'd still be in better financial shape than
Canaduh.

Yes Max... we often laugh at Americans driving motorbikes in the snow....
that's why we invented snowmobiles... and ride them at -40 degrees.

It may come as a shock to you, Mooron, but it can be below zero here with
absolutely no snow. You guys seem to have a corner on the white misery.

And what does Bubba or Scarface require of you for such favors?? ("Bend
over and grab your ankles, pretty boy.")

My My... you seem to have such a tendency to associate everything with
homosexuality. You and Binary Bill seem to have much in common!

Not as much as you're gonna have with those bikers. ;-)

Well. maybe not as gay as you, but he's trying hard to catch up. Your
new car
choice really set him back in the competition. Being somewhat cooler
and manly
than you, He'll probably start looking for a vintage ISO or BMW
Isetta, or Fiat
500/600.
Look BB... I'd luv to sit and chat with you on the merits of your Mary
Kay Pink Cadillac vs your CJ5... but I have a floral arrangement just
screaming for adjustment.... Hmmmm Maybe it's the vase!!

CM

Make sure you add sweetener to the vase water and not the lo-cal type!
Then swish it all around!

Thank You Bob... I took your advise and the results were positively
amazing... the blooms are vibrant and the whole piece now looks fresh and
quite alluring.

BB would be 'jelious' if he saw it.....

I think I'll complete my needlepoint project tonight.... it's a fabulous
piece with a skull and cross bones motif... underlined with the words.."
No Trespassing - Final Notice - Violators Assumed Armed & Hostile - We
Respond Accordingly".....

Maybe I'll knit BB a nice seat blanket for his CJ5... what do you
suggest... something Pink?

CM-

You should make that needlepoint pillow cover reversible so that when
females come calling you can flip it over with some "come hither' message.

A 'back off bitch--you aren't my type' would be more to the point for
needlepoint boy.

inch of each stem every day when you refresh the water...this allows the
flowers to keep drinking and to stay fresh...You're foing very well at
this...

Thank-you Kitty... Excellent Advise as always!

Do you have plans for all these newfound skills?
