What's funny is that the Coors factory is surrounded by sewage treatment
plants (more plants than in all of NS). I have ocassion to drive through the
tunnel on the south side of the plant. I lay on my air horns (three trumpet
no less!) while in the tunnel, if there's an employee in there they jump ten
feet into the air.

The locals pronounce it "Coo-wers", it rhymes with sewers. I haven't had a
Coors since 1981, I've forgotten what is tastes like.

Moosehead is one of my favorite mass produced beers.

I'm not a big fan of Moosehead but I understand the company is excellent to
work for and the employees take great pride in their product and their

Oh Yes.... I've often taken a "Tour of Scotland" at the local pubs sampling
every single malt they have. We have a nice single malt produced here in
Cape Breton. They are seeking to be included in the Scottish Single Malt
Association but are facing difficulties due to the 'Closed Door' attitude of
the ancient established breweries. A nice highland single malt is always a
welcomed treat.... no ice and maybe a splash of ditilled water to release
the aroma.

I tasted a nice Zin over a steak in a great restauarant in the Marina
complex at Long Beach, but it's the only one I've tasted that appealed
in any way.

Zins have grown in popularity over the past few years here. It appears they
seem to appeal to the same individuals who enjoy full-bodied cabs and
merlots. Good zins are excellent wines; that white zinfandel crap is what
gave the grape a bad name. Some zin vineyards are so old that the vines are
beginning to die off. When it was not as popular, the best zin grapes were
often used in blended meritage wines, but now old vine zin is selling better
than merlot and shiraz.

Saddam had zip to do with 9/11. In fact he was the strongest bulwark against
the jahidists who did in the middle east. Toppling him is the equivalent of
having suddenly attacked Stalin whilst trying to get ready for the Normandy
invasion in WW2. Fact is we did the real anti-US terrorists a big favor by
invading Iraq.

I don't think the media is doing a good job of telling us what is really
happening in Iraq. They show us a crowd of a 100 people that are ****ed
about something, but they never show us the 900 people that are tickled to
death that we have set them free.....

Sure, free to join Iran and other radical Shiite radicals in their drive to
impose a Taliban-like government on the world.

How long should it take to "impose" freedom on a suppressed population?

Please understand that these people dispise what we call "freedom". They don't
want it and they don't want anybody else to have it. They believe Allah made
the law (Sharia) and the government should enforce it.

Should we help freedom to take root, ....

We would have to utterly destroy Islam to do that because Islam is the very
opposite of freedom. Muslims don't believe in free choice, they believe that
everybody must be governed by Islamic law.

Should we sit silently when we are outragiously attacked,

No! But we should punish the ones who attacked us, not Saddam! Guess what - bin
Ladin and company are still free and planning their next attacks! Why? Because
Blundering Bush diverted our military and intel resources to attack his personal
enemy and to find non-existant WMDs to justify his blunder. Worse yet, he
didn't provide enough troops to secure Saddam's weapons dumps so, in effect, he
handed them over to the real enemy - the enemy that perp'd 9/11 - and that enemy
is using those weapons to kill our kids right now.

Jeeze, what if some American had supplied Ho Chi Min with tons and tons of
weapons and explosives that Ho subsequently used to kill 1000s of Americans -
would you call that man a traitor?? I would. And yet that is exactly what Bush
has done regarding the terrorists who perpetrated 9/11 and more. He toppled the
3rd biggest army in the world and left all its material to be picked up by these
terrorists and used to kill our sons and daughters. Hanoi Jane did nothing that
bad yet many Americans, including me, deem her a traitor.

should we stand up for our own rights and way of life?

How did toppling Saddam do that? How did handing Saddam's military equipment to
al Qaida do that? How is turning Iraq into another Iran doing that??

Personally, I am going to defend my way of life, even if that means
that I will be sending my own kids and my neighbor's kids into the line of
fire.

Then you should be doing your best to remove Bush from office then try him for
treason - and to bring our military and intel resources to bear on the jahidists
who perp'd 9/11 and are our real enemies!!

White Zin is not at all the same as Zinfandel. Winemakers use extra
grape skins to improve the color of Zinfandel. They then make that
weak and characterless "White Zin" from the waste grape pulps.
Previously the pulps had been used as compost for fertilizer. Making
alco-pop from them is far more profitable.

Fish fins and scales are thrown into beer to clear it up. Why isn't that
