![]() "Capt. Rob" wrote in message ups.com... Only victims get mugged,[Duh!!!] which means you have to have a victim I didn't expect you to understand. In most cases you need two things for a mugging. 1) The mugger 2) Someone who can be mugged. Absolute BRILLIANCE!! If you carry yourself properly you cannot be mugged. Period. So why carry a gun for something that won't happen? If you mean by "carry yourself"... restricting your movement to peak daylight hours.... security terminals at both departure and arrival points..... maintain travel to within patrolled areas.... securing yourself within a lockable enclosure during the night.... then you've proved you have a victim's mentality. Much like a sheep! CM- |

If you mean by "carry yourself"... restricting your movement to peak
daylight hours.... No, Mooron, but have you ever heard of "Carry yourself" used in the regard of a time and place? I can't find any reference for it in that usage. Maybe you can point us to it. Here's yet another basic English lesson for Mooron! American Heritage Dictionary; Carried-Transitive An act or demeanor exhibited by an individual. (He carried himself with great confidence.) Mooron, is there ANY way you can get that hook out of your silly mouth? RB 35s5 NY |

Here's yet another basic English lesson for Mooron! Shure... you ever hear of bringin' a knife to a gunfight? or maybe you think you'll intimidate a mugger with a handgun by your 'gait'???? Bwahahahahahhaaa American Heritage Dictionary; Carried-Transitive An act or demeanor exhibited by an individual. (He carried himself with great confidence.) I prefer... Mooron's Heritage Dictionary; Carried - Proactive The act of packin' lethal force so I don't have to walk like you have a pant-load clumped in your shorts to imitate a confident swagger. Mooron, is there ANY way you can get that hook out of your silly mouth? If there is a hook in my mouth... it's because I didn't remove it from the last fish I pan fried..... don't fret Bob.... I file off the barbs and use sufficient drag to keep you on the hook... :-P CM- |
