I am now a youthful 49. I am dreading my next birthday.

Did you do anything exciting?

My wife cooked a meal for me and my two sons. She really did us proud. My
sons are 19 and 16, so it was a real treat to have a proper family meal.
The food was really excellent.



My mother turned 84
on the 14th. She is in great shape for her age. We
had a nice family dinner prepared by my girlfriend.

Tuesday was interesting. The club is in a tizzy,
worried the city may try to take our land away
from us again.


The modern world is dominated by finance ....

I often wish that I had been born 50 years earlier.

I was at sea on my 41st. I made the same comment
to the cook. She said that I should not dread birthday's
and to consider the alternative.

Besides I know you are over 50. Is dementia setting in?
