Isn't that a representative's job? Shouldn't they be aware of how the
people that elected them feel? Dave, I'm sure you are more than aware of
how a "Democratic Republic" operates. I know you must know that an
elected representative is supposed to represent the feelings of the
people who elected them. They are not appointed by the Crown. If they
are not acting in a way that is satisfactory to their people they don't
desire to be re-elected.
