Perhaps he estimates his tax payments. According to law payments this year are based on how you did last year. Perhaps he did not do as well this year, and yet still had to pay taxes as if he did. Thus, he gets a refund. Or . . . you can be smarter and pay less estimated tax than calculated, thus withholding that which you really don't owe the government anyway. It's not really rocket science to estimate how much tax you actually will owe in a given year. $6K of overpayment is foolish. Max |

Actually... up here your rate of taxable income is based on your pay. If that pay is every 2 weeks or every week is irrelevant. They tax it on the gross and it's based on if you claim your rate as single or with dependents.... I'd rather have them owe me than me owe them at year's end. Another fine example of extreme north accounting. Max |

Basically, you didn't do the math right to begin with, thus giving your gov't a free ride on your money... not exactly good accounting or particulary smart unless that's what you intended. Since you said that you "just found out," well, I guess that says it all. Ganzy... when I want a Fag's Opinion on anything.... I'll ask Binary Bill.... you're not the only raving homo that brags about driving a CJ on this group! CM Poor, sick Mooron. Just because you're an angry person doesn't mean you should ignore good advice. He's Canadian. Would you expect less? Max |

![]() "Scotty" wrote in message ... "Maxprop" wrote in message link.net.. . I say make drugs of the highest purity available. No weaning necessary. Say, did you ever see "Pulp Fiction?" That stuff John Revolta had might do the trick. Haven't seen it. is it a good movie? I got Netflix so I need to choose some movies. It's weird, but worth a watch. Lots of symbolism, and the dialog is priceless. I own a copy, but have absolutely no idea why. Max |

![]() "Scotty" wrote in message ... "Maxprop" wrote in message hlink.net. .. Just found out I'm getting $6200 back in overpaid taxes!! Man life ie rough! You fool. You let your gummint walk all over you, taking *your* money needlessly, drawing interest on it while you struggle to make ends meet. You'd make a great citizen of the US of A. Just last week I got a check for $16.42 from the IRS, from my 2002 tax return. Whoooo Hooo! LOL. This summer my 2002 return got audited, and I ended up owing about that much. So give me back my money, dammit. Max |

CM Lisa will NOT love Kill Bill one or two....I thought two was better than one BTW.... No, I saw a review today. She said no Pulp fiction , either. I guess it will be another 'romantic comedy'. Oh thrills. Scotty |
