Slow, slow, slow your boat....

Maybe Mooron ought to row that puppy if she ever hits the water again... http://www.nordicaboats.com/assets/i...in-sml-opt.jpg State of water shows a reasonable breeze and the spinnaker is full, yet the ponderous Nordica 30 is barely moving! There's barely a bow wave!!!! She's doing 2-3 knots at best, where my boat would be close to hull speed. Why do people buy such turtles? Because they're afraid of those few ultra windy days where it might actually be a serious challenge to handle a fast boat like a 35s5, J35 or even a good cruiser like a Sabre 35. Nordica slowica cheapica boatica!!! RB 35s5 NY What an idiot. The breeze is so light that it cannot even pull the wrinkles out of the spinnaker. Frank |
