2. Owning a cruising yacht but never cruising in it.

3. Owning a sailboat but spending more time on auxiliary propulsion.

4. Owning a family boat but spending only fleeting moments with the
family.

5. Owning tons of rescue and medical gear knowing you'll never be in a
position to need it.

6. Using sailboats as steeping stones to bigger boats rather than as
building blocks to a better sailor.

7. Sailing in an area where the sewage one sails upon is frozen several
months of the year.
