These are the worst boats of the group!


Worst cruiser:
Express 30. Fast she may be, but the awful interior is...well...awful!
The Express is just depressing to be aboard, feeling more dated than
even older C&Cs and Pearsons.

Worst Long Range cruiser:
Doug's Trawler: Bound by her fuel requirements, she's little more than
a motorhome.

Worst racer:
No one races PDQ 36's, not even in their own class. Runner-ups:
Siedlemann 30 and Coronado 27.

Worst character:
It's hard to imagine a boat with less character than the Express
30....until you see a Catalina 28.

Worst Daysailor:
Most of the boats here can offer some rewards for a quick daysail, but
not the bloated PDQ 36. Her owner here has admitted that he sails other
boats for fun.

Worst Family Boat:
Siedleman 30: a boat that does nothing well, a spirited success in
mediocre design that dulls the point of sailing like a rusty
butterknife.

Worst Interior:
Without a doubt, the Express 30...even worse than the Siedlemann 30.

Worst looking:
The PDQ 36 is ugly to be sure, but in it's own way so it's unfair to
judge it against monohulls. The Express 30 is the least attractive boat
here.

Worst Quality:
Since the Coronado has some heavy build characteristics, the ultra
flimsy Siedlemanm 30 is the winner.

Worst boat overall:
Tie between the Coronado 27 and the Sieldlmann 30....both horrible
boats! Congrats to Capt Neal and Scotty Potty!
