Makes one wonder if he really does live in NYC. .. Nutsy, I'm beginning to think Scotty frightens you enough for you to avoid him. I promised him I wouldn't hurt him. What more can I do? Scotty |

Many years ago I use to deliver produce to Hunts Point there in NYC... which I had picked up on the West Coast. I wouldn't even consider driving around that town... even in a bobtail mode... and couldn't wait to get the heck out of that general area. I'm certain it's only worse now... I'm assuming that Scotty was on a "run"... therefore in his big rig. Accordingly... it would have been more appropriate for Rob to make the transit. Hmmm... "If the mountain will not come to Muhammad..." heh heh Bill |

I used to run meat from Chicago to there in the 70s. What a freaking hole! I wouldn't even consider driving around that town... even in a bobtail mode... and couldn't wait to get the heck out of that general area. I'm certain it's only worse now... Manhattan isn't near as bad as Bronx / Brklyn area. Accordingly... it would have been more appropriate for Rob to make the transit. Yes, common sense would dictate that, but then, look who we're talking about. Scotty |

...appropriate. Since when has that word applied to Bobbie?
Katy... I'm kind of the "new kid on the block" here... so to speak. I don't know CaptRob that well... much less if he truly exists... although I suspect that he does in some form or the other. For that matter some of the others/regulars have me some what stymied as well... relative to being "sockpuppets" or whatever. In spite of the mystique (for me at least) this web site is still a fun and entertaining read. Like Jonathan once said... "this is the wild wild west of the cruising forums". I believe it... cause I have the time to view most of them that are active... on a daily basis. Best regards Bill |

I used to live near the stockyards in the 70's.
Did you ever dine at the stock yard in? Did you ever eat at Ted Bell's steak house? He invented the tin foil covered baked potato. Amen!
