Wow... looks like we chewed the same dirt.. I have a great picture of a
fixed wing glider trying to land on the cliffs. He just hung there for 10 minutes trying to set down without munching it. Every once in a while, someone would attempt to return, fail, and smash into the side of the cliffs. We used to see people landing on the beach all the time. I always thought it took more guts than I have to jump off a cliff. :-) Long climb with a glider on your back! -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Joe" wrote in message oups.com... Well it was a poor goat trail. That was a great place to Hang Glide. The first time I ever tried it was at Black's beach. They had an old wood ramp off the cliff. I got to far away from the cliff and had to pack the glider back to the top. But hey I landed on the beach. Joe |
