I almost drowned by F-250 trying to get them out, and we watched a Chevy
hi-boy float away.

Yuo couldn't reach the pedals on an F250

It must be your natural reflex to swallow anything placed in front of you
that makes you such an easy target on the newsgroup.... and so popular with
the gay community in your home town.

Bwhahahahahahahahahahahaahaaaa....

Stalking???..... Oh that's choice there Gaylord!!

we use to surf flat bottom skiff on the rollers off Pt.Loma. It was a
blast. We'd rent them from the Navy special services. I don't no how
many times we wiped out and ended up on the beach drying motors out.
Nothing like diving in a kelp forest with otters.

Coronado was something else, While practicing beach landing we would
always take seals 3 mi off and they would have to swim back. ABC school
is now a thing of the past.

Lost my High School ring tumbling down the cliffs of Blacks Beach with
a keg.

Hahaha... did you take the road or the goat's trail down to Blacks? Those
days a couple of people died every year doing the trail. Now, apparently,
it's got a real live stairway.

Well it was a poor goat trail. That was a great place to Hang Glide.
The first time I ever tried it was at Black's beach. They had an old
wood ramp off the cliff. I got to far away from the cliff and had to
pack the glider back to the top. But hey I landed on the beach.

Wow... looks like we chewed the same dirt.. I have a great picture of a
fixed wing glider trying to land on the cliffs. He just hung there for 10
minutes trying to set down without munching it. Every once in a while,
someone would attempt to return, fail, and smash into the side of the
cliffs. We used to see people landing on the beach all the time. I always
thought it took more guts than I have to jump off a cliff. :-) Long climb
with a glider on your back!

Thas is motorcycle heaven. On the cold days I'd ride in
the desert, and on the warm day I'd ride up to the top of
the mountain.

The locals are amazing and actually get out of the way
of the bikers. I've never seen that anywhere else.

Amazingly, my ex girlfriend used to live just north of the race track.. if
you turned off Via De La Valle on the road just to the north of the track
entrance and made the first left, she was in that group of condos. We had
to rescue her and her roomie during the floods of late 70s. I almost
drowned by F-250 trying to get them out, and we watched a Chevy hi-boy
float away.

I used to ride my cycle out of Del Mar east... can't do that any more...
toward Mt. Pal. Those days, there was nothing out there but farms and
badly rutted dirt roads. We also used to take our weapons out there and
blast away... no one around to complain. It was the first time I fired a
44 magnum and a 45.

What's better is the guy who jumps off the ramp expecting an updraft
that stopped, most times it's a sharp turn into the face and a tumble
down to the beach. I bet the tech has advanced big time since the 70's
80's with the triangle gliders.

It was a half day ordeal. And the view was nice.
