Why not coat the prop with a highly radioactive substance. That will kill whatever wants to grow and the water would acts as shielding so the radiation wouldn't travel far. And the blue glow makes a nice effect for night snorkeling around the anchorage. DSK |

OK, Just put tritium in the prop coating. It emits very short range
betas and also produces a bluish glow. |
